We are a family of 4. 2 adults (who like authentic, simple, peaceful holidays) and 2 young teenagers (who now want company and activities). Is there any way of solving this problem? How can we plan a summer holiday that provides sufficient fun for the kids without staying in a 'resort'. If we go for our usual type of charming, quiet farmhouse then the kids will moan there is nothing for them to do. We just want to read and swim in the sea (ideally on a tiny beach with hardly anyone else about). We can't be the only people to have this dilemma and hoping there is a solution out there somewhere. Grateful for any ideas.
