Ideas for an afternoon in Glasgow?

I've got an afternoon to spare in Glasgow. Anyone got any ideas how to spend it? I'll be around Western Road, Kelvinbridge subway. I don't mind walking. Are there any local art galleries or places to visit?

You could while away an afternoon here easily and it's free

You're not that far from byres road shops - oxfsm book shop is amazing - but I would go to the museum too

Looks like a nice walk to Kelvingrove museum. I think I might do that. Thank you!

Don't if I dare go to the Oxfam bookshop. OH put a ban on me buying any more books!

Might be a bit cold for the Botanic gardens Ivy. I heard it might snow, or at least be bitterly cold.
