Thinking of going end of May. We'v not been away in 6 yrs & have decided we're definitely going away this year!! Two kids, 13 & 8 yrs.

Flight time, no longer than 3 hrs so we thought Spain, we haven't been there. Ideally just want somewhere not too far from a beach & preferably water slides for kids!

Anyone recommend anywhere?!! Thanks!

I love this resort because it's reasonable and yet feels so upmarket. No Brits requesting pie, chips and gravy or getting drunk and rowdy, no 'plastics' who are there only to get a tan whilst little Chardonnay plays in he pool. It's a very Mumsnet resort.

LARGE water park
Age appropriate kids clubs. The one for 13-17years olds has video games, mixer, lounge area etc...
Really handy for the airport
Morning and afternoon shuttle buses to two beaches.
Clean, light and airy apartments which are well equipped, modern and not too overlooked.
Regional culture evenings offering talks about the local area and sampling local produce
bread and pastry delivery by request
Choice of two restaurants
Small onsite shop
Games room with pool, air hockey and video games
Bike hire
Nearby zoo, with the occasional day trip led by guides for children aged 7-15
