I don't think I would. Do you need to take it as a double or a single?

spinach · 28/04/2007 22:23

as a double... have 7 month old and 3 yr old who wont be able to walk as far as we'll need to

we did ... and the bagge hadlers bent the wheel so it was unusable for most of the holiday
We did keep it with us up til the end, though, if that helps...!

Millarkie · 28/04/2007 22:25

Ours has flown to USA but we put it into the travel bag for the flight. (Only time we used the bag!)

LynetteScavo · 28/04/2007 22:28

personaly, I'd go for an umbrella style pushchair with a buggy board and a sling, incase 3 year old needs a nap in the buggy.
No way would I entrust luggage handlers with my e3!

funnypeculiar · 28/04/2007 22:29

actually, I beleive they were baggage handlers.

Oh, and P&T came good with free replacement parts (despite the fact that it was an old, second hand buggy) so there was a happy ending

moondog · 28/04/2007 22:30

I did and do.Regularly.
Must have done it 30 plus times.

Millarkie · 28/04/2007 22:34

I can also vouch for the fact that P+T spare parts are not too hard to come by (buggy survived flight ok - but we've had it for 3 years now and replaced bits as necessary)

spinach · 28/04/2007 23:00

thanks.... cANt use a sling...really need my e3.... what bits have you guys had damaged? is the travel bag padded? or useful for that matter? its 40 quid? more money!!

Travel bag isn't padded - it's just big and made of strong stuff (?canvas).
(Mine's for sale (think I put a thread on the for sale part of mumsnet) - just about to put it on ebay.)

spinach · 30/04/2007 22:10

can you do me a link to where you're selling please?

It's here
Although I've said pick up only since my nearest post office is miles away - might be persuaded to try to post it if you are desperate.
