The details would be:-
At least 2 beds
Private pool, beach within 30 mins
Fly from LGW, LHW, Southampton, Bournemouth, Bristol, Birmingham or Cardiff
Car hire
Nowhere English Wink
2 adults and 2 children
We were thinking Europe, but are happy to go further afield too!
19th/20th May for 2 weeks.

We are having a terrible time trying to find somewhere that isn't £5k +
Anyway, if you've got through all of that, then thank you and hope you can help! Grin

We found lots of lovely 5 or 6 bed villas in Mallorca for around 5k in August so there has to be something in your price bracket for May.

James Villas to Menorca for a fortnight in villa with pool and 'free car hire' is coming in at £3400.

Define 'nowhere English'. Are you trying to avoid resorts completely?

Appraiser · 27/01/2018 20:54

We did James Villas last year and booked again this year. As above, free car hire, 99% certain to be 4* + accommodation

Majorca was awesome. We loved it. This place was near Port De Pollensa and Alcudia and with the car too, it was perfect to explore and relax

Definitely Balearics. Not sure what you mean by "not English", there are English people everywhere, but all of these islands them have some beautiful resorts which are very Spanish and we've stayed in some fantastic villas.

Thanks for all your help, we've eventually found a place in kefalonia for £4500, with hire car, flights and airport parking.
