Recommendations for Mexico....

....looking to go to Mexico next Easter to celebrate DS1's 21st and my 50th.

Looking for an AI resort, not too lively, maybe Riviera Maya rather than Cancun.

Moon palace is amazing but pricey. If you wanted to go more towards Riviera Maya then Occidental Xcaret is great and right next door to the xcaret park.

Stayed at hard rock and grand palladium in riviera maya. Both fantastic. Get resort credits at hard rock that you can use for excursions - dolphin swim, zip lining, swimming in cenote which brings the price down a lot. We booked flights, connections and hotels separate and much cheaper.

Are there any children? If not Unico is incredible. Very expensive but honestly it's like paradise! If you are travelling with kids either Hard Rock, Azul Beach or Generations would be my choice.

Go to Eldorado Royale. Perfection. Check out the tripadvisor reviews. It was heaven on earth.
