CYPRUS IN AUTUMN Anassa and Natura Beach Hotel

Has anyone been to Cyprus in Oct/Nov? Is the weather significantly warmer than the rest of Greece at that time? Could we swim in the sea, for example?

Also, I'd be very grateful for any reviews of Natura Beach Hotel and Anassa. Are they toddler friendly and what are the beaches at these hotels like?

Many thanks

Sorry, not sure about weather in Cyprus at that time of year, but have used a really good website with loads of reviews on holiday accomadation "www.holidaysuncovered.com".

Hi Rubyone, A friend went to to Cyprus in November a few years ago and said it was about 80 degrees. That may have been an exceptionally good year, though. I would think it's a safer bet weather-wise at that time of year than the rest of Greece. I visted that part of Cyprus in early spring and we had pleasantly warm weather then. The Anassa and the Natura Beach are both on nice beaches. The nearest town, Latchi has some great fish restaurants. The Natura Beach is much simpler in style but the rooms are nice and it's in a peaceful setting near the beach. Some of the villas have their own private pool. The Anassa is gorgeous and if you want a bit of luxury worth splashing out on. The accommodation, food and service were all superb. We went pre- children so I can't really say how toddler friendly it is. They do offer some childcare now for older children so they do welcome children. I'm sure you would have a good holiday at either hotel.
