Krabi in January - weather help

We had decided we wanted to go to Thailand over new year next year but then I added Krabi to the weather app on my phone and the weather looks dreadful and has for weeks!

Can someone please reassure me that it isn’t going to rain continually.

We were there end Feb/early March 2017. Glorious weather the whole time. Can HIGHLY recommend, (Although not AO Nang unless you are real party animals!).

I went to Thailand and Vietnam for 7 weeks on New Year's Eve a few years ago and everywhere I went in Thailand was hot. Admittedly I didn't go to Krabi but can imagine it would be much the same.

Weather reports for places with high humidity are crap. It's really not worth worrying about. We went to Thailand a couple of years back in December and it showed thunder every day, I stressed so much! As it was we had a short sharp storm for about 5 minutes late afternoon for about half the days and every other second was glorious sunshine

Have to say though it is super disorientating to go from hot sunshine to hot rain and back to hot sun between 4.30pm and 4.45pm!
