Who's used Flybe with a baby or small child?

I can't believe I need to pay extra to book a seat when you'd think they'd automatically put families with babies near the front. Is it worth me booking a seat for £10?

we paid the extra,but we were a group of 4. wouldnt bother if its just you and a toddler, they could not seperate you, for safety reasons!
