We tend to like quiet but not dead hotels with a bit of night life in the area but not club scene - we're 42 and 59 so middle aged but not retirement levels of quiet.

I like "Nice" hotels - usually 4 or 5 star but accept that package holiday hotels might not be up to the same.

These three are the only three AI that the travel agency we're doing our cruise and stay with do which aren't ££££££ more expensive.

Any thoughts?

We loved mango bay, small but perfectly formed, stunning west coast.

DH & I spent a week at Mango Bay many years ago & it was a disaster. I do hope as PO has said, that it now has changed.

The food was all out of a packet....Smash was their ‘home-made’ mashed potato.

The room was so damp that within 72 hours of unpacking, the hotel relocated us to a different room and sent all of our clothing to a launderette as they had started to turn mouldy.

The beach as I recall was small but perfectly fine.

The club really does not have a beach directly in front of the hotel. They have a few loungers on a concrete platform covered in sand and you have to walk left or right to a beach. Have to say if you walk left you end up on Sandy Lane beach, which is really nice, but of course you then have to pay for a bed. Personally I would opt for Mango Bay or Sea Breeze, depending on whether you want to be on South or West Coast.

Sea Breeze is either currently being renovated or they have just completed so that is now likely to be of a higher standard than previously.
