Marrakech Hotels with pools for young family

Dear All
We have booked flights for a 6 night stay in Marrakech in April. The husband and I have been a few times, but this will be the first trip with our 2 boys aged 5 & 7. I am looking for a hotel that has a great pool and also serves a selection of foods as one of my sons is particularly tricky with food - think bland beige food! Has anyone been recently and would recommend a hotel?
Thanks so much.

We went to the Eden Andalou nearly 3 years ago. It’s outside Marrakech but they have mini buses running in. They have a couple of pools (one heated which you might need in April!) and a water park with slides for all ages. It’s very much a mid range hotel - not the grandest place we’ve ever stayed but absolutely fine with big rooms & bathrooms. There’s a kids club, mini disco etc. The food is all inclusive buffet style - our daughter is very fussy & there was plenty of beige food for her. The food wasn’t’ wow but I’m a picky veggie & didn’t go hungry. The wine was a bit industrial though. If we were to go back to Marrakech (which we won’t as my DH loathed the city!) then I’d stay again. If you planning to take the kids into the old town you might be better offer doing a guided tour - the streets are very narrow with no pavement & a lot of motorbike/donkey traffic & half the city didn’t seem to be on the map which made walking around a bit challenging!

Sorry - just remembered you’ve been before so you’ll know already it’s a bit mad!

Beldi country club? Bit outside the old town but great pool including an indoor pool and lovely gardens to run around in. Not sure about the food situation. Was ok as I recall.

We stayed at the Jardins de la Medina in December with our 16 month old and it was fabulous. They made food to order for us that wasn't on the menu, but there was plenty of options anyway. The pool is heated but it was still a little chilly for DD in December temperatures to be honest. The staff were incredible too, so so lovely with DD. Couldn't recommend it enough. Very central location too but the garden makes it an oasis away from the hustle and bustle.
