Mountain buggy or PITA smaller buggy to take to France?

We're going on the ferry and hopefully will have a box thingy for the top of the car for our stuff but space is tight. do we take our mountain buggy which is comfy for dd2 to sleep in and can cope with the sand on the beach no probs but is bulky, or take the smaller, lighter citilite buggy which has wheels the size of pins and gets on my tits?

it sounds like you've answered your own question...or...buy another mountain buggy over there (better yet, order online and have it delivered to your hotel)

we're only going on holiday - can't afford a new mountain buggy everytime we go somewhere new!!!!

If you might go anywhere with cobbles, take the mountain buggy!
