Holiday to Thailand Summer 2019

Hi, thinking of taking the family, husband and 3 kids 18,16,12 to Thailand - possibly Centara Resort in Koh Sumui. Anyone been there or can recommend another gorgeous resort with lots to do the for the kids? Also, seems only flight options are Thai Air and BA - heard bad things about both? Any options please? Thanks very much x

We stayed at Anantara Bophut on Koh Samui in 2015 with dcs 20,17,15...beautiful resort/spa right on the beach and only 2 min walk from fisherman's village, so great for eating out ( very cheaply)
Took speedboat trip to Ang Thong Marine Park where we snorkelled....fabulous day out
Did a cookery class, which involved going to local market
We flew Emirates from Manchester- Dubai, Dubai- Bangkok and then Bangkok Airways to Koh Samui...all flights were brilliant
Would return in a heartbeatyou're making me jealous

I'm going to Samui next month.

Flying direct to Bangkok with EVA air (11 hours)then an internal flight to Samui with Bangkok Airlines (1 hour) although we're having a stop over in Bangkok for a couple of days.

Chaweng is a busy resort, Maenam at the top of Samui looks lovely as does Bophut.
It's only a small island so easy to get about.
We're planning the National Park trip too.
