Somewhere to stay near Swansea for the weekend...?

DC is at university, and we'd like to go and visit... Maybe take the dog, too.

Can't find anything that inspires me - doesn't need to be in Swansea itself.

The Kings Head , Gower? Or have a look at Mumbles. Let me know if you need any more!

I second Oxwich Bay Hotel. We had a lovely lunch there with the dog allowed in the restaurant. We stayed at 3 cliffs bay. The campsite also had some lovely cottages. My DS1 is also at Swansea.

I cannot imagine some of the places mentioned will take dogs. Best to check out dog friendly places first.

Mumbles. Try Norton house hotel. They have apartments as well as rooms and the breakfast is lush! Xx

Oxwich bay hotel might have some good deals on mid week, or a weekend especially if there's no weddings on.
