Christmas in Lapland

Now I know it's only January but I want to book and pay off throughout the year. We would really love to spend Christmas Day in Lapland this year, we think it will be DS last year to believe (will be 9) and want to make it extra special because we have had a few dramas in the past few years. I have had a look but there is so much choice so was wondering if anybody had any recommendations of which resort to go? We need some Christmas magic in our lives!!

Levi Finland is great. Lots to see and do. Not too tacky. Easy to walk around and short airport transfer.

Rovanemi. Fantastic place. Try Canterbury Travel...they're Lapland specialists. Very jealous...I loved Lapland !!!

I think you'll need to book now as these holidays get booked up well before Christmas! We went in early December to Saariselka which was beautiful. Went with Santa's Lapland who I would highly recommend.

Thanks for the replies! I will get researching these resorts! Yes I plan on booking up at the end of the month when we have both been paid! I'm excited already!
