August - hot but not too hot.

Any suggestions for holidays in Europe in August where it will be hot, but not too hot I.e mid to high 20s as opposed to early 30s.

We went to Austria last August, it was stunning. A lovely lakeside holiday with fab scenery and we swam everyday in the lake (it was errr fresh) and hotel pool (warmer). The temp was roughly 27/28 every day...perfect.

Italian Lakes?

Verite - did you book a hotel or camping and where did you end up booking please?

San Marco Parco - hotel but with loads of activities for kids. At Italian side of lake Lugano.
