Off to brothers wedding
Leaving behind my business (with staff covering me)

I hate all the getting stuff ready, packing, getting to the airport on time, check-in & all that stuff

I feel so stressed

We went out last year sometime in May, the weather was lovely. Have a great time.

Is it a big family do?

I hate getting ready to go away anywhere, hate packing too.

swedishmum · 26/04/2007 16:55

It's a great place to go and much better at this time of year - roads are mad in July/Aug. We're going at the end of May. Actually my dad's there at the moment for a month with friends and says the weather's lovely.
Just leave yourself loads of time for the airport, pack without kids around and with summery music on/glass of kir royale on the side. Or do what I do - leave it to the last minute, panic, then forget everyone's knickers (actually did that once).

No really small & I don't know her family - I am stressing

I've felt like that last few times we've been away . Somehow it all seems too much hassle and it spills over to affect my enjoyment of the first few days of holiday too

Tutter · 26/04/2007 17:15

i have decided to go on holiday less frequently but do everything in my powere to make it more enjoyable and less stressful (valet parking, paying extra for civilised flight times etc etc)

Katymac · 27/04/2007 07:43

I'm probably being silly - but it really stresses me out
