Lisbon

Hi,
Anybody recommend where to stay in Lisbon in August for a few nights? We are going to Cascais for a week, but then plan to have a few nights n Lisbon itself. Would like to be central, and in August not sure if trying to get a pool would be a good idea (or at least aircon). Need a family room as 2 kids with us. Budget up to around £200 a night. I've been driving myself crazy searching on the internet for the past 2 hours so any recommendations gratefully received!

Hi Op. Went to Cascais last summer. Are you aware that there is a direct train line from Cascais to Lisbon (takes 35mins) with return journey costing €6.
Lisbon is lovely but not sure there is enough there to warrant more than a night's stay. Happy to be corrected though!

I've no idea I'm afraid but when you're in Lisbon make sure you go both to the aquarium and the fantastic science museum very close to it.

I’d look for an apartment if I were you instead

We find hiring them in cities you get a lot more space and it’s nice to have a living room etc

I have stayed here and it is lovely. Great location and public transport is so easy in Lisbon anyway.
