Loved Dubrovnik. So, where to visit in Corfu?

If we loved Dubrovnik, where in Corfu would we choose to holiday next?

Loved picturesque nature of Dubrovnik - old buildings and history. Liked it being near the beach (don't mind stones); water-sports for kids (13 and 17); local restaurants and bars.
Loved being able to walk into town from villa.

Don't need:
Karaoke
English breakfasts

We stayed very close to Avlaki beach last year. We had a villa which was walking distance to a small bay and 1km from avlaki. There's a sailing school at Avlaki and a riding stables. We hired a car to explore and walked into Kassiopi most nights for dinner. We also hired a motor boat for a few days so that we could explore coves and bays that you could only reach by boat. We loved it.

Thanks Localher0 ... hiring a motorboat sounds good. Will a standard UK driving licence do?

What was the villa, if you don't mind me asking?

Aghios Stefanos NE, Agni & Kalami in the north east are lovely
