I'm on maternity leave so piss poor....

What is the deal with the whole 9.50 Sun thing? Is it real?
I don't buy the Sun but have seen you can get the codes online and that some of the parks are Eurocamp sites

Thinking of picking some of the nicer sites-Bella Italia and Le Clarys Plage are top of my list at the moment

Any experiences or advice much appreciated!

i have never been on one but from the comments on here about them over the years its hard to find the decent places at the best time of year. so if you do it you wont get anywhere near as much choice as you think. plus do bear in mind the small print, there will be extras and how much depends on where and at what time of year.

the old adage of if it looks too good to be true then it probably is fits this.

I remember when I did a Sun one you could only pick a selection of dates and places - difficult if you need to book time off work. Generally also term time so again can be tricky if you have an older child.

There are usually extras - entertainment passes and service charge. (Don't know about o/s ones) I have booked a couple of these type of holidays through break free holidays as fixed dates - I did one this week using codes from the mail which are easily found online.

Headline price was £84 then £30 ish for entertainment / service. I suspect linen is not included so we can take or pay extra. So assuming we take our own it's £120 for 3 nights over late May bank holiday weekend for 4 of us . Accommodation is usually pretty basic - lowest level caravans unless you pay extra.

It's not really my thing but I know my dd will love it - the arcades, evening entertainment etc.
