Just looking for some real opinions here! Has anyone stayed in Mijas pueblo, end of September, beginning of October? I go to the area every year with a group of friends and this year we are thinking of changing the place we stay to Mijas.
We have provisionally booked what looks like a nice hotel but it’s very much aimed at couples. We’re all married and in our late 40’s, all have 4 kids so it’s our real break away, and all we want to do during the day is sit by the pool reading. We all love eating out and like good but not necessarily fancy food and we like the option of a bit of a dance one night.
We would ideally like all of the above in one town/resort and just not sure Mijas is it! We are all on a budget and save all year for these 4 days away so really don’t want to waste money on a place that doesn’t meet our needs. Has anyone first hand advice on Mijas or somewhere else that’s easy to get to from Malaga Airport? Thanks
