Is it impossible to get from Hamburg to St Girons (or as close as) on trains?!?

I am looking and looking at online sites and cannot seem to find one that can get us from Hamburg, Germany, to St Girons, France. Anybody know where I should be looking? We're looking to walk the Chemin de Liberte but need to get to the start point. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the man in seat 61 website? Really useful for European train travel.

Also look at trainline.eu but you might have to break the journey up slightly because of the distance, Hamburg to Toulouse then Toulouse to Start girons works.

Thank you for the hints and advice. I think I've worked it out now, thanks to the tip about breaking it down into shorter stretches.
