Alton Towers and CBeebies land

Anyone been recently?

We were considering this for a couple of days in the summer. We would need to stay overnight as its a bit of a drive so and lical hotel recommendations?

Our children are 2 and 6 so hopefully there would be enough to please them both.

We always stay in Uttoxeter . I think it's a travel lodge or similar but it's close enough to get up and get there quickly . The lodge hotel looked great when I looked before a sit had two rooms . The Alton towers hotel is a corporate hotel so avoid that !
