Hello. First time here. Have a query I think this forum might have opinions on.

Going to Disney with fiance and our two daughters. Youngest has my surname.

Eldest (13) is from fiances previous relationship so she has her dad's surname.

Fiance reverted to her maiden name when they split so now we're in a situation where 13 year old has a different surname to me and her mum.

Will that cause us problems at US customs?

birth certificates and letter from the other parent probably would be ok to take in case you got stopped

You need to comply with published home office UK advice to exit plus the government rules of the destination country to enter.

This applies for any trip where only one parent with legal responsibility is present irrespective of surname differences.

Should be ok if one child shares a surname with one adult. Just take them both through seperately.

Taking a copy of her birth certificate should be fine.

Raving, eldest doesn’t have the same name as either parent. Birth certificate?

..either adult, I should say.
