short break in the sun - Sept

I'd like to go away with DH for our 10 year anniversary. Given that we have 2 young children we would be leaving with grandma we only want to go away for 3 or 4 nights, not 7. We are looking for a really cheap deal, somewhere near the beach with a pool where we can sit and read for a few days and just chill out without the kids. But I'm finding it hard to find any deals for less than 7 days.

Any recommendations?

DIY with a cheap flight, loads of options. How about Barcelona, it's beside the sea.
