Xmas & new year recommndations with a 14yo - somewhere hot

Hi wise travelling mumnetters

Im looking for recommemdations for holidaying somewhere warm over xmas and new year with 14yo.

Totally open to suggestions- teenager is fairly sporty, great snorkeller and diver nd would like opportunity to make friends with other teens whilst on holiday. Us parents like a relaxed holiday and not too fussed about dressing up for dinner etc but wont rule that out.

Have been looking at safaris and also indian ocean so far - but open to otger suggestions.

We had a fantastic holiday with our 16 year old in South Goa in December. Didn't encounter any other British teens though so if your DC wants teen company it might not work.

Our teen DS loves to cruise & always makes friends on board. You could cruise round the Caribbean and snorkel on port days (I do).

We find cruising very relaxing, especially when DS is so happy.
