Is Dubai too hot to sunbathe in September for adults? Says highs of 40 which might be ok but depends on humidity

I wouldn’t go before October personally. We went enc of Oct/beginning of nov this year and it was still very hot late 30s/early 40s. Any hotter would have been unbearable

The humidity would be awful in September I wouldn't travel there until mid November.

We went mid November last year and even then it was incredibly hot, but nice in the evenings so the later the better.

It's definitely staying hotter for longer out there, I lived there early 2000s and September was a perfectly good time of year to holiday there. Not any more.

September is quite awful in this part of the world and you really need to be into November before temps start becoming tolerable.

And I agree with the previous poster who said its becoming hotter for longer each year.

Dubai lies about the temperature I was told by a resident. Don’t go. Too early!

MsGameandWatching · 19/01/2018 02:22

I wouldn't go to the UAE between May to October inclusive. It's unbearable, you feel like you're cooking, no exaggeration. We went in August once thinking "how bad can it be?" Bad enough to make my children cry every time we had to walk from the air con house to the air con car - a distance of about 8 metres. Can't even sit outside at night.

Hot and extremely humid in September. Best times to visit Dubai is between November and March.

It makes you wonder how they can do that what with so many independent sources of recording temps being available.

SandLand · 19/01/2018 03:42

Don't do it. The humidity can take those low 40s up to high 40s. It's horrible.

Tweennightmare · 19/01/2018 04:39

Too many other places close by with decent temperatures in September go there instead As a fellow Dubai resident September is too hot and humid. Save Dubai for when Europe is in winter

MardAsSnails · 19/01/2018 05:54

Mid October to mid December, or mid feb to end of march in my opinion for dubai.
