Holiday suggestions

Looking for a summer holiday suggestion for August. We will be taking with us a 5year old and twin 4 year old boys. Looking for somewhere in Europe, short flight (as it’s our first holiday) and short transfer. Anyone any suggestions for where to go? Child friendly tour operators? Resorts? Thank you!

We loved Menorca when our kids were that age.

Channel Isles would be a short flight, would that count? Have heard very good things about short time from leaving home to getting to the hotel.

First choice holiday villages are a very easy start in. They are all inclusive, have pools, beaches and kids entertainment. Excursions out from hotels. They also do a SplashWorld range with waterparks that are similar but maybe for slightly older age group.

Only issue is resorts are in places it's very hot so we always went at Easter until the Splashworlds and you live on the waterpark.

We enjoyed a few days in Euro Disney late April with kids that age and that worked really well it was our first trip abroad with them. So much so that we also took the eldest out of school 5 days early the same year. We kept things simple with an AI to Majorca. We got a good day time early morning flight time with a slightly earlier start (stayed in a Premier Inn at the airport the night before) so not to interrupt sleep and avoid travelling with over tired/grumpy kids. We stayed at the Bonaire in Cala Bona (it was a number of years ago). It was lovely and clean, their was a pirate ship splash area and the food was fairly good ok too. We booked with Thomsons.
Menorca or the Algarve might work well too. I would also recommend Jet2 too. Enjoy your hols top tip take plenty of new sticker books/comics, colouring drawing things, snap cards or whatever and electronic gadgets with you.
