Puerto Pollensa or Cala d'or? Or somewhere similar?

Looking to book our hols for July. Two kids 5 and 7. We love puerto pollensa but been lots. Part of me thinks it's great so just go back. The other part thinks we should try somewhere new. Ideally we'd get an apartment on a complex with two bedrooms but they seem few and far between. We'd look at Ibiza or Menorca otherwise. Any ideas please?

Cala d'Or or Cala Egos down the road are nice. We also really liked Es Canar in Ibiza and Santa Eulalia, though we only visited the latter for the day I've also heard other people say it's nice. We stay in hotels though so don't know about other accommodation availability.

Ooh will follow this with interest! I love PP, but haven't been with kids. We took our 1 and 4 year olds to Cala d'or last July and had a lovely time. The beach was fabulous and I loved the town centre with it's abundance of lovely restaurants and bars (we were SC so are out every evening). However it was very busy (this was early July so not English school hols) and VERY expensive.

Our 2 previous family hols had been to menorca (Cala n Bosch and Cala n forcat) and I personally much prefer the quieter laid back atmosphere of menorca. I also thought the quality of food in the restaurants was better.

Port Soller is fab with a big sweeping bay and loads of great bars and restaurants. Hotel Esplendido is lovely if budget allows.

I went to Cala d’or a few years back when dc were possibly 5 and 7. We had an apartment in a complex. Food was great. We upgraded when we were there to a dinner and breakfast package the food was so good. Gorgeous beach and there was entertainment in the evening.

We also enjoyed PP. Carvoeiro or Alvor in the Algarve is nice (I would avoid Albuferia) but both very popular so I would book soon.
Check location if you’d avcomodation on a map if you want to be close to the beach resort centre etc. Menorca is also meant to be nice also but I haven’t been.
