October sun

I want sun. I want the warmth on my skin, consistent weather and the ability to get in a lovely (not cold) pool... but i don't know where to go & internet is causing more confusion!

Looking end of October, flexible across the last 2 weeks for half term. Minimum 7 days, maximum 10 days. Have done villas, multi centre, all inclusive & cruises in the past, so game for anything.

2 adults + 12 year old DD. We love a little pool time and being a bit active and trips/seeing the country etc.

Budget £3k ish total (flights, accomodation, food, drink etc)

Anyone have any suggestions?

We went to South Florida and it was lovely and warm. Flew into Fort Lauderdale

Years ago we used to go to Cyprus in October. The weather was usually very good. Check the monthly averages. You can have beach, pool and go for trips into the Troodos mountains.

Lanzarote. You might even be able to find a heated pool. Lots to do in addition to beach, pool (waterparks, caves, volcano park, boat trips, cactus gardens).

Malta and/or Gozo still warm at that time of year too. We went in the middle of last October and it was 30+ every day and the sea is nice and warm at that time of year too.

Another vote for Cyprus - we went Oct 17, for a week. Stayed in Larnaca town centre. Didn't bother with a hire car. Booked on expedia etc

Any of the Canaries.

Canary islands. Cyprus. Malta. I don't think the budget quite stretches to long-haul.

We've tried a different Canary island every November for the last three years and it's worked well ;)

Alicante is lovely and hot and cheap too in October, however I've yet to find a warm pool!

Caribbean. Flights and Airbnb you’ll do it in your budget.

Thank you everyone.
Had a look at Florida, but pushes over budget too much & wanted to avoid Caribbean due to Hurricane season.

Looking at Canary Islands and Cyprus.
Thank you
