Diggerland height measuring

Can anyone confirm if kids need to measure 90cms / 140cms in their shoes or their socks please?

(I know its closed season at the mo).

I haven’t been to digger land but never has my ds been asked to remove shoes to be measured

Rides are outside so shoes on. They do check.
