Nice pub west of Ipswich

Looking for a nice village location for lunch close to but outside Ipswich (west or south) - any recommendations? TIA.

The Butt and oyster at Pin Mill is a hugely popular proper traditional pub which serves lots of seafood. It's about 15 mins south of Ipswich, right by the river Orwell.
The Case is Altered in Bentley would be my second recommendation. Not a huge menu but good food and very friendly.
However, if I was going out for a light lunch just outside of Ipswich, I'd go to the Suffolk Food Hall or Jimmy's Farm.
