Air bnb Amsterdam

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good air bnb in or near to Amsterdam City Centre?

We are going over in January and have a hotel booked but it's really expensive and we are thinking an air bnb may be cheaper and better due to meals etc.

I have had a look on the site but I'm not sure what neighbourhoods are ideal and close by for transport etc

Any pointers would be helpful thanks :)

if booking with airbnb make sure that you book the whole apartment/house and not just a room. lots of people have been caught out and ended up sharing a house and a bathroom.

Hi, I'm an Amsterdam blogger (I'm also the family blogger for the "iAmsterdam" City of Amsterdam website) and have loads of info on my blog that might be useful.

This post in particular is a good place to start re: accommodation:

Have you thought about serviced apartments - take a look at the section on Yays

Let me know if you want to know more about areas. Amsterdam is really small and easy to navigate on the tram so you won't need to be right in the canal ring.
