Mum and Dad have just moved to Newton, Stocksfield (nearest town Hexham). Lived in Northumberland as a child, lots of family there. Just interested to know if anyone can recommend anywhere to go with a 19mo and 3yo, as we'll hopefully be spending a good bit of time there in the holidays.

Thanks

Alnwick gardens is a good day out.
Lots of water features that the kids can play in and the grand cascade -don't think they can go in that one.

Also a very large tree house with a resturant inside and lots of walkways in the trees.

Amble is not far from Alnwick and has a lovely marina and picnic area There is also White house farm near Morpeth where the can feed the animals and make candles and honey etc.
