Festivals : Beautiful days or Just so festival with 11 and 12 year old?

Trying to choose a festival to go to this summer. We did Camp Bestival a few years ago, which was fab, but wrong time of year for us next summer. Not in it for the music especially, wondering if Just so is aimed more at younger families? Want the kids to be able to wander off and do their own thing to some extent. Experiences please?

We've done just so a few times- it's fab but tbh I definitely think it's aimed at younger children, I probably wouldn't recommend it for over 9s

Latitude and Cornbury would be my top recommendations with kids of that age, but neither are in the summer holidays.

Beautiful Days and Just So are very far apart, where about are you? Bearded Theory is another to consider with kids. It's May, but we've always had boiling weather, even better than August festivals.

Sorry I didn't answer your question. Beautiful days is amazing, but too far for us. I'd recommend. Just So looks really good and lots of friends rave about it and it's close to us but I can't get passed it not being a music festival. We like introducing the kids to proper live music and having a drink too.

I went to Beautiful Days last summer and some of my friends went with kids, ages between about 7 and 13. They all seemed to have a good time as there is definitely plenty for children to do there.
