Lisbon with an 8 month old?

Is it a good or a bad idea? - I'm used to pushing the buggy up hills, so that is not a problem . Any reccommendations re hotels, restaurants?

Depends when you are going. If it´s hot, it´s sodding hot. Pavements not really very good, but lots of things to see!

Nice area to stay near would be Expo 98, lovely for kids, big oceanarium that is nice for babies, cable cars, lots of restaurants and things. Not very near the centre though, so you would have to get tube bus or tram. If you want to stay in Lisbon itself, probably not worth hiring a car.

I live outside Lisbon, will find out about hotels in the centre if you´re interested?
