My lovely mum & dad’s Christmas present to us this year is money for a family trip out.
However, I’m a bit stumped for where to go - my criteria are that it is breastfeeding/ baby change friendly, we can hang out together, & that it’s not all outdoors (too cold!)

Somewhere like the Harry Potter tour would be perfect but we went a couple of years ago. ..

I would suggest legoland but that's all outdoors and not open until spring (so that's basically a shit idea!)

Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth. HMS Victory, Mary rose etc and can get annual ticket so can go and do more in the Summer?

Spink · 08/12/2017 16:23

Kitty :) DS would LOVE Legoland! Definitely one for when it’s warmer..

Drusillas? Zoo has lots of undercover areas.

Playground is awesome for your bigger 2. There is soft play if it's raining,

There are also 5 rides.

Tefal they liked the Cutty Sark this summer so that could be a goer..

Albus we live about 10 mins from Drusillas Grin & it has served us v well over the years! But I am currently avoiding it as I can foresee many hours there once the smallest Spink gets a bit older & have overdosed on it in the past...

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard including Action stations.

Crumbs1 · 08/12/2017 17:36

Just seen someone’s suggested Dockyard above. Good day out including boat trip, Victory. Action stations is good for 8/10 year olds. Plenty indoors. Easy public transport. Gunwharf Quays almost next door too.

MegBusset · 08/12/2017 17:38

Leeds Castle, Hever Castle, Dover Castle all good

Would think Kidzania too young for the 8 and 10yo? Not been though

In London, HMS Belfast, or Greenwich for the Cutty Sark and Maritime Museum. Horniman Museum great too

AlbusPercival · 08/12/2017 17:58

Fair enough @spink you must live very close to DSis then she has an annual pass and goes near weekly Grin

Bodiam Castle www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk/bodiam-castle
Blue Reef Aquarium, Hastings - more than just fish... talks, feedings, reptile handling...
SeaLife Brighton
Mercedes Benz world
The Canterbury Tales
Bluebell Railway and museum - the indoor museum is very interactive and then you can hop aboard one of the steam trains for a 22 mile trip.

You could spend the money that your parents give you on family membership for the National Trust.

Spink · 13/12/2017 06:14

Thanks rice, I’ll have a look at those. We already have NT membership- if not that would have been perfect for us. B
