Where would you recommend that's warm and/or interesting in March?

In March for seven days. No children. Not sure if I want a relaxing, do nothing type of holiday or a bit of culture (or a mix of both) so open to all suggestions and recommendations. Thanks.

Perhaps Morocco. Marrakesh and then up and over the Atlas Mountains (probably still cold) to the Draa valley: oasis, kasbahs, sand dunes.

Gran Canaria. The south for sunbathing, the capital for culture and sightseeing and the mountains and Canarian villages for something different.
Weather is good as well.

Seville!! It's warm and sunny in March (as warm as our Summer in UK), lots of interesting things to see and delicious tapas to eat.

Las Fallas festival in Valencia, Spain.

The costa del sol should be warm at that time of year. We're going at Easter and staying a few nights in Malaga and then on to Fuengirola.

Cyprus - lots of different options and will be warm too.

Morocco, stay somewhere with a rooftop terrace to sit in the sunshine, then essaoura (sp).

Or south of Spain, Malaga is a great city with a surprising amount to do then train to Grenada.

Or Mallorca....palma is lovely.

Lanzarote has a surprising number of interesting places to visit.

I'd do the south of Spain: fly into Seville then train to Grenada and Malaga and fly back from there.

Second the Lanzarote recommendation. Weather likely to be good, loads to do if you want to (volcano park, caves, vineyards, cactus garden, Cesar Manrique arty stuff, beaches, water park, boat trips to La Graciosa or Fuerteventura). Ideal for a relaxing beach/pool holiday too.

Or the Andalucian cultural cities thing (Seville, Cordoba, Malaga, Granada, Ronda).

We've just been to Marrakech, it was mid twenties in the beginning of December so will definitely be warm and sunny in march. There is absolutely loads to do, and I cannot recommend the Jardin de la Medina hotel enough for a green and tranquil sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
