Has anyone else stayed in a Disney hotel? Also I can't remember if they provide you with towels in the US?
It's the rainy season there at the moment but we'll have our rain coats and it'll be warm at least.
We've got 10 day passes for disney and we're only there 14 days!! I'll end up growin Mickey mouse ears at this rate. I think we should nap in the afternoons or we'll end up shattered.

Not stayed in the hotels so can't help but have a fab time. We are going on August 12th and can't wait. I have never been before - going with my parents, brother and sister who have. We have enough toickets (due to getting some free days) for about 20 days of attractions - only there 14 days too! We are planning afternoon naps too.

Let me know how you get on if you remember. We should be setting off a few days after you get back.

have a great holiday!!!

Oh - and the rain...it normally rains around 3ish apparantly and not for long. Head for one of the rides with indoor queues.

But be warned about the water parks. If there is a thunder storm within xxx number of miles radius everyone has to get out of the pools until it has disappeared again.

I haven't been but have a great time

(Sounds like you'll need a holiday when you get home!!)

Cheers for that Hulababy. I'm not over keen on waterparks and the boys are 3 and 6 so hopefully they won't be that bothered. We'll be back on the 7th so I'll definitely update you before you go.

DH and I have been 3 times bf kids and loved it. We even got married there! It'll have changed a lot since then though but we're hoping the hotel is still there where we married to show the boys.

well I'm off holiday shopping in Asda now, talk later x

Towels in the room or towels for the pool? Any queries, just email Walt Disney World guest services - [email protected] - I emailed them recently with a request and they were very helpful. Hope you a have a great time!

DS1 & 2 (2 3/4 and 4 3/4 at the time) LOVED Typhoon Lagoon last October! There's a kiddy section (Ketchakiddie Creek) which had water guns, little slides and a mini donut ride. DS1 even loved a few of the bigger slides and the actual lagoon which had 6' waves in it...

Hulababy · 22/07/2004 12:01

My DD adores the water so we have no choice but to go to a water park!

So which parks are you visiting?

We have a 7 day Disney flexipass, a 7 day Universal one (got 7 days when we paid for 2!), one for Kennedy Space Centre, and one for Sea World. I am so excited already!!! The advantage of taking 6 adults and only one child is that there are enough of us to allow me and DH to get on all the rides too

SoupDragon · 22/07/2004 12:17

If Playhouse Disney are live on stage in MGM studios, do it! DSs loved it

Thanks for the email addy LMB

We'll be goin to as many parks as we can fit in. I'll probably give Typhoon lagoon a go then. TBH it's me who isn't over keen so I don't know why I blame the kids
