Playa Blanca Lanzarote? - Natura Palace ?

Hi all
Those who've visited Playa Blanca - what's it like?
Looking at Natura Palace hotel for a week winter break (poss over Xmas)
Just me and DP.
Not sure what weather will be like, looks low 20's(celsius) at the moment.
Just wanting somewhere relaxing and easy, with some nice cafes nearby and maybe a few nice walks.

Playa Blanca is quite nice. We've not been at christmas but low 20s in Lanzarote is quite hot in the sun but cool if there's a breeze and at night.

There's lovely walks along the promenade and beachfront. Near Natura Palace there is a little cluster of shops/restaurants on the seafront. There is an Italian(!) place we ended up in out of desperation that was actually pretty fab. Great food. In town the nicest proper Canarian food is Brisa Marina on the little town beach - with the parrots out front.

Not been to that hotel but have been to the resort many times.

Biggest selling point is the miles and miles of seafront promenade, so you can walk without seeing a car as much as you like. There is a little bay and cluster of bars and restaurants, then if you walk on more (to the left if facing the sea, along the prom) within about 15 mins you come to the very very pleasant playa Blanca marina which also has lovely eating places and posh yachts to coo over. You can day trip to fuerteventura if you like, the port is within walking distance of the resort centre.

Been in jan and although it get dark early, it’s warm enough to lie in the sun. The sea can be a bit nippy for a proper swim!
