need new ones for our next holiday as our old ones were ruined by the airline on our last holiday-grrr!

don't want to pay a fortune as moneys not great at the mo so cheapys will do.i need one big enough for mine and hubbys clothes then a slightly smaller one for the kids.would prefer ones that stand out-bright colours or even tacky leapord spots that stick out like a sore thumb-minging i know but save a lot of time at airport!

wheres the best place to get them from, any good sales around at the moment? thanks

take into account the weight of your suitcases empty as they use up your luggage allowance especially f you are flying with ryanair or someone who charges for it by excess.

try ortlieb - my husand uses theese for biking but we're going to use them for our hols as they weigh in cases less than 1/2 kilo. plus u get loads in the barrell bags

Matalan or TK Maxx

Agree with lapsedrunner - TK Maxx have some great ones, reduced at the moment. We just bought a POLO Ralph Lauren one - genuine- for 1/3 of the price. Dh well happy.

If you catch a sale at Debenhams they do good luggage by Tripp. Just picked up 2 whoppers and a medium size for under £100
