Disneyland Paris - weather + outerwear

We're off to DLP at the beginning of December for 4 days (2 adults + 2 kids) and were wondering what's the best outerwear to wear for walking around.

We all have big warm winter coats for school/work but would a smaller jacket and layering be better (ie thermal vest - tshirt - hoodie type - short jacket) be better (especially as flying over). We are staying in one of the Disney Hotels so easy enough to pop back and add / remove a layer if needed (or bring a backpack with an extra top for each).

Obviously nobody knows what the weather will be like until near the time but can anybody say if it gets really cold (when it doesn't rain).

Yes it gets really cold.
Take ski gloves and proper warm boots, not wellies, and hats.
Only the Disneyland hotel is really near enough to pop back to just to grab a jumper.

It is really very cold from November through to March. In particular think about your feet.
Apart from the Disneyland hotel all of the hotels are at least a 15 minute brisk walk from the park and the other side of security.
My visits have been in Feb -didn’t wear enough clothes spent most of time cold. Last weekend in December wore a lot of clothes only felt warm at lunch time in Pirates of the Caribbean restaurant.
August despite rising to 35degrees in the middle of the day at night it was cold due the wind in that area.

Hi we went in December last year, we had a fantastic time but it was really really cold. We had thermals, snow boots and the kids had ski wear (salopettes etc). It probably sounds excessive but meant we stayed outside all day feeling really warm and made full use of everything in the park. There is a lot if hanging around for rides etc and it's just miserable if you're freezing!
