The Faroes?

We're contemplating visiting the Faroes, having had a great holiday in Iceland a few years back. Has anybody been there? Where's good to stay? What's good to visit? No small DC with us, just a couple of active (hiking, non-partying) teens.

You should definitely go, it’s completely beautiful. Stay in Torshavn, which is the capital, as there’s not much else going on elsewhere in terms of restaurants and bars. Hire a car and drive out to explore - plenty of easy hikes to do. And take the commuter helicopter - it’s super cheap but you could only go one way so the seats don’t book up and make it difficult for locals.
