I'm looking for a beautiful view! Austria or Switzerland?

Dh and I are planning on going away for our wedding anniversary in December.

We’d love a nice hotel that has a ‘oh wow’ view, I’m favouring snowy mountains but I’m stumped.

We could also go to Salzburg do the train and the boat and the Christmas markets?

I love being warm and cosy in nice surroundings, I love a scenic view but I get bored easily. Suggestions greatly appreciated!

Most but not all are based in the valley and so look up to the mountains but all round it is beautiful( and expensive)

Have a look at the Evian Resort on Lake Geneva. It is pricey but has gorgeous views of the lake and the surrounding mountains, a gorgeous spa and a very luxurious feel. There are much cheaper hotels on the lake too and you get more for your money on the French side.
