Marwell Zoo - Going on Sunday, anyone got any Tips?

Going to Marwell Zoo on Sunday. Any tips?
Have not been for many years, could easily be 5 years+.

Marwell say it's likely to be busy.

Taking just one child (aged 4, ASD) ... he wants to see Jungle Animals.

Went last Sundayit was so busy it was just not enjoyablewish I'd gone to the park instead.

We always go to back to front!!

So don't start with the penguins, head towards the big shop and go along the right hand path past the Pygmy hippos, it tends to be quieter if you don't follow the crowds!

There is a little land train, but is costs extra

Take a picnic as lots of lovely lawns to eat on, especially near the big house, as opposed to where it is busy next to the playground.

Go for when it opens at 10am.
