Torremolinos - recommendations please!

We're thinking of going to Torremolinos for a week in September for our first overseas holiday with DD - she'll be 7 months. Has anyone any hotel and/or resort recommendations?

Don't go there. If you want to be in that area, i THINK fUENGIROLA IS MORE FAMILY ORIENTED although also package tour territory.

I was in Torremolinas a couple of weeks ago, well Carihuela which is the bit between Torremolinas and Benelmadena. I was really suprised as it was lovely. Yes it is built up and crowded but it is quite affluent and very clean and well organised. We brought dd and she had a ball, we stayed here

It is not incredibly luxurious but it was very comfortable and very good value for money.
