windmill farm southport/liverpool

been to windmill farm on tuesday and it was fab
i took 9 children with me (i'm a childminder) and it was £3.50 each to get in and £1 each for the train
we took a packed lunch each with us which we were able to leave in the party room which was fab, they also have a lovely cafe which we used for coffee and ice-cream
we were able to feed the animals and they even had a pen you could go into with rabbits in
they have a fab outdoor play area with wooden bark on the floor and a covered sand pit complete with buckets and spades
inside there is two ball pools bigger than our local wacky warehouse
there are toy tractors to play on

this would be a good day out even in the duller weather as the animals are indoors too

go to botanic gardens lots the kids love it there
off to blackburn tomo ice skating and leyland on friday to worden park (have you been? a great day out)

btw if you past Preston let me know maybe bob in with your children for a play

i am often to be found in botanic gardens ! not been to worden park....will google it...
