Dubai passport question.

DS's passport is up next March. Is it ok for him to travel to Dubai for Christmas or will I have to get him a new one before then?

He'll need 6mths validity from the end of his stay.

A quick Google for passport requirements for Dubai shows that he needs 6 months validity.
