Suggestions for where to go please - I am sick of MIL staying with us on her own (she has been for four years running) and not being able to see any of my family. Both sets of parents are divorced and I'm fed up with the trauma every Christmas of where we should/will go/who we will have over. Can anyone suggest somewhere good that we could go with ds (who will be nearly 4) and dd (who will be nearly 2.5 by then)? Preferably somewhere where my sisters could come and stay nearby as well? I would love to have this sorted out and have somewhere lovely to go to to look forward to........

Any idea at all of where you want to go? And budget? All sorts of things you could consider. Edinburgh or London an Aparthotel or similar where you could be together but apart. Hotel in the Lakes - Armathwaite Hall. Macdonald Hotels are fab for Festive Breaks. North Lakes Hotel in Penrith. If you can spent lots then a Christmas/New Year cruise would be my absolute favourite. One day ... !
Or Center Parcs which really is not like Butlins!
