Hi,
Just got home from a fabulous day out at Nausicaa in Boulougne. It was a belated birthday treat fro my trio, Jan is not the best time to go! Nausicaa just seems to get better every time we go, and of course the huge bonus is its right on the beach, so after our visit the kids played on the sand for almost 2 hours, weather today was really warm. Then to Cite Europe for bbq chicken and big bag of prawns and wine of course to wash it down............bliss!

What is it?

Hello Moondog,
Its a Sealife Centre, its knockout, much better than any I have been to here. Reall good for kids of all ages, very easy to get round with pushchairs, very clean, good facilities, food good and not expensive. Ticket price not bad, we paid 55 euros for 5 of us, about £42 I suppose. You park right there so easy to take stuff back to the car, just get a hand stamp, then you have the beach, miles of sand right outside, very good play areas on the sand for the kids, loos, snack bars etc, its really a good day out and only 30 mins from Calais.

We went last year and thought it was good as well. Our ferry was Dover - Boulogne, and on the way back we spent a nice time in the play area on the beach before heading home.
